Adrienne works as a bankruptcy legal analyst at Bloomberg, where she writes articles on current bankruptcy issues for Bloomberg’s Bankruptcy Law Reporter.

Prior to joining Bloomberg, Adrienne was an associate at Katten Muchin Rosenman where she practiced in the area of bankruptcy and creditors’ rights, advising commercial banks and secured creditors in and out of bankruptcy. Adrienne also advised official and unofficial creditors committees, creditor trustees, individual creditors and indenture trustees in workouts, reorganizations, structured liquidations and mediations. Her work has included representations in real estate, entertainment, retail, health care and satellite industries, among others.

Prior to entering private practice, Adrienne served as a law clerk to the Honorable Allan L. Gropper, United States Bankruptcy Judge for the Southern District of New York. Before her clerkship, she interned with the New York State Commission to Promote Public Confidence in Judicial Elections.

Adrienne volunteers with the Civil Legal Advice and Resource Office (CLARO), a limited, legal advice project for unrepresented debtor-defendants with consumer debt cases in New York City Civil Court.  Adrienne also is Membership Relations Director of ABI’s Young and New Members Committee.

Adrienne earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 1996 and her Juris Doctor degree from Fordham Law School in 2004.

Michelle’s practice focuses on corporate restructuring, bankruptcy and bankruptcy litigation in which she represents creditors and debtors in complex restructurings and Chapter 7, 11 and 15 bankruptcies, as well as related civil litigations and appeals.

Michelle has represented secured and unsecured lenders, special servicers of securitized commercial mortgages, indenture trustees, creditors’ committees, unsecured creditors, landlords, investors, and debtors.  Michelle works with clients to create strategies tailored to meet their business needs and objectives. On behalf of these clients, Michelle has prepared and prosecuted pleadings and motions by negotiating out-of-court settlements and/or appearing at adversarial hearings related to first-day motions, DIP financings, automatic stays, asset sales, disclosure statements, reorganization plans, assumptions and assignments of leases and contracts, and objections to claims, as well as defending numerous clients in avoidance actions. Michelle also advises buyers in acquisitions of distressed assets and other transactions involving troubled companies.

Michelle is admitted to practice in Delaware, New York and California.   Michelle earned a B.A. from Western Michigan University in 1996 and a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center in 1999.

Oliver works in Business Development for BMC Group a globally recognized leader in restructuring, mergers & acquisition, class action, and med-legal support services that help clients collect, manage, and deliver information with speed and accuracy for informed decision making.

Oliver was heavily involved in the M&A space prior to joining the world of Ch. 11 bankruptcy/restructuring.  Formerly with Thomson (now SourceMedia), Oliver represented the largest and best known publications and data services in their space (the publishers of The Bond Buyer and American Banker): Mergers&Acquisitions Journal (ACG), Investment Dealers’ Digest (IDD) and Corporate Syndicate.  He was also the point business development person during SourceMedia’s inauguration in the “online-only” publishing space by representing AdvisorMax.

Upon joining BMC Group, Oliver was responsible for coverage of accounts such as Lehman Brothers for BMC Group’s M&A service, the Virtual Data Room (currently marketed in M&A as Bowne SmartRoom™).  Recently, Oliver has been successful in his restructuring services role, securing the retention of BMC Group as notice and claims agent for several (including 2 multibillion dollar) Chapter 11 filings, a Chapter 11 liquidating trust, bondholder search, virtual data rooms for §363 sales, and is constantly engaging his clients to ensure satisfaction, repeat business, referrals and all around good cheer.

Oliver earned his Bachelor of Arts majoring in Communication from Western Washington University in 1996.  During his tenure as a personal chef, Oliver’s recipes were published in The New York Times Magazine in the article “Beauty and The Feast”.  Oliver speaks conversational Swedish and is a PADI certified diver.
